Urban Wedding Event Planner is in search of an event planner, event promoter and wedding planner.

Must have extensive sales strategies and public relations, marketing, customer service, sales, event planning and well organized.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Coordinate exhibitor and attendee details for career fairs and awards banquets
    * Obtain and amend contracts for venues
    * Manage vendor and supplier relationships
    * Compile career fair materials/supplies (printing, shipping, displays, etc.)
    * Develop and adhere to budgets and deadlines
    * Travel as needed for on-site coordination of events
    * Additional tasks as assigned by Director of Events

Occasional weekend and evening events are possible.

Requirements:

    * 2 years or more experience in event planning
    * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    * Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills
    * Excellent interpersonal skills, with a dedication to customer service
    * Extensive computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
    * Creativity and the ability to multi-task under pressure
    * Ability to stay focused within a fast-paced office environment
    * Flexibility to change and a positive attitude when dealing with deadlines
    * Design experience (In Design, Photoshop) is a plus
    * A degree in marketing, business or communication is suggested
